About

I was born lucky. Great parents and books were the cornerstone of my life from the start. My Mom taught me how to read at an early age. And at three years ten monthsmy Dad made a note of the illustrious eventI finished reading my first book entitled Nose is Not Toes.

Now, it’s not a book that’ll ever get made into a movie 🙂 but it did trigger the inevitable thought most future writers get at some point which is:  I can write something better than this. So, I’ve spent my life trying to do just that.

While I’ve read in every genre under the sun, I chose to write mysteries after years of reading old time greats like Nancy Drew, Hardy Boys, Perry Mason, Edgar Allen Poe, Ellery Queen and Agatha Christie. Who can resist a great whodunit with all their unexpected surprises, dumbfounding puzzles and perplexing story twists?

I sure can’t.

And perhaps, one day soon, I can return the favor. By that I mean, my stories can bring the same hours of enjoyment and wonder to readers that these books and authors gave me.
